The heat emitted by light (IPL) destroys the melanin accumulated on the surface of the skin, in the epidermis layer. This technique is not very painful and is performed with protective glasses. The treatment leaves a crust on each stain which falls off in 21 days. The skin should not be tanned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the spots are dermal, that is to say deeper, the treatment will be carried out with&nbsp;<strong>trichloroacetic acid (TCA)<\/strong>&nbsp;in order to eliminate the pigment that has infiltrated the dermis.
