Hyaluronic acid to fill
Hyaluronic acid
What is Hyaluronic acid?
WHAT IS HYALURONIC ACID?
Hyaluronic acid was discovered by researchers Karl Meyer and John Palmer in 1934.
This extraordinary hydrating agent is abundant in our body: it is a major component of the extracellular matrix of which the skin is the main reservoir, but it is also found in the joints and at lower concentrations in the blood and synovial fluid. .

It is a heavy molecule capable of holding a quantity of water greater than a thousand times its weight.
As the years pass, the body produces less and less, and its quality decreases. The skin dries out, and fine lines, then wrinkles, appear.
Wrinkles love hyaluronic acid
Injected under the dermis, hyaluronic acid helps fade wrinkles and soften negative facial expressions. Involved in hydration and the fixation of water in the body, the hyaluronic acid placed in the furrow to be corrected will fill the wrinkle by restoring this “plumped” side to the skin and blurring it.
The promises of technology
Indications for hyaluronic acid
Technological advances in laboratories (Allergan, Galderma, Mertz) producing Hyaluronic Acid now provide us with a very wide range of injectables based on hyaluronic acid to fill wrinkles, restore facial volume, outline the lips and increase their volume.
Marked folds of bitterness, hollow nasolabial folds, folds of the cheeks, sunken temples, thinned mouth, sad look, low eyebrow, humped or dipping nose, relaxed oval, empty earlobes, are all indications corrected by Acide Hyaluronic, with specific texture and concentration.
I also use products adapted to the results I want to obtain:
– A very supple Hyaluronic Acid (Volite®, Volbella®, Restylane Vital®)
Injected very superficially, it makes superficial fine lines such as frown lines or crow's feet disappear.
– A denser Hyaluronic Acid (Volift®, Juvederm®, Restylane Defyne®, Restylane kiss®)
Injected into the middle dermis, it fills the nasolabial folds, the corners of the lips, the wrinkles of the cheeks, and helps correct the shape of the nose.
I also use it to reshape very thin lips and plump up a flat mouth.
– A volumizing Hyaluronic Acid (Voluma®, Restylane Perlane®)
Injected more deeply, it is ideal for filling deep furrows, removing dark circles, reshaping cheekbones, and reshaping the oval of the face.
What are the advantages of hyaluronic acid in aesthetic medicine?
Reproduced by biosynthesis, hyaluronic acid is not of animal origin and does not present species specificity.
Our body naturally produces hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid used in aesthetic medicine, even if it is synthetic, is not recognized as a foreign body and integrates perfectly into the skin. Allergies to hyaluronic acid are extremely rare.
This product is 100% biodegradable.
How are hyaluronic acid injections done?
All treatments are carried out after meticulous make-up removal and careful asepsis. The injections are carried out with well-documented hyaluronic acids from the two world leaders in the sector (Allergan and Galderma). Hyaluronic acid formulations are combined with a local anesthetic (lidocaine) providing optimal comfort during injection.
After the injections, the skin is refreshed, and a relaxing massage with Arnica Montana cream. Then, a beauty treatment is offered to you so that you can get back to normal with your day.
When to expect results after wrinkle filler injections?
The follow-up is simple, the results immediate and the day continues in style. A bruise may sometimes occur, but it will be hidden under beige covering makeup.
In the majority of cases, the aesthetic results will gradually improve for approximately 15 days to 3 weeks after the injections, once the hyaluronic acid has become well hydrated under the skin.
This treatment can be combined with Botox® to correct negative expression lines in the eyes.
